After you have filed your Income Tax Return it is necessary to e-verify your return.  As the ITR filing deadline was August 31, 19 for the financial year 2018-19 thus, all the taxpayers who have furnished ITR should e-verify ITR within 120 days of filing. Because if you do not e-verify the returns than your application for ITR filing will be rejected by the Income Tax Department. The Income Tax Administration will only accept the process of income tax return after it is successfully verified by you or else it would be declared invalid. For verifying your return there are multiple ways in which you can e-verify ITR, you can either choose an online mode or offline. Under the offline procedure, you have to print ITR-V documentwhich you'll receive on the registered email ID and post it to CPC, Bangalore.  Whereas, the next option is to e-verify your ITR using Aadhaar-based OTP, net banking, electronic verification code or log in directly to your account on the income tax of India website.

How to send ITR-V to CPC, Bangalore?
Once you filed your return you will receive an ITR V at www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in. Hence, to send ITR V to CPC Bangalore, you are required to follow these steps enumerated below:
·         You can download a printable copy of your ITR-V from the income tax login portal. To open the document, you must use a password that is a combination of your PAN and date of birth without special characters.
·         Before sending it by speed postyou must sign the document in original. If the taxpayer is a company or a firm, then the signature of the authorised signatory must accompany the form.
·         Make sure the paper printed on is of A4 sizedoes not have any folds or any other document for that matter.
